- Winter Wreath Making with Botanist & Bloom
Join us at Wren & Bramble for a relaxed Winter Wreath Making workshop in collaboration with local florist Charlotte from Botanist & Bloom. Over two hours, you’ll be guided through the process of building your own beautiful winter wreath using a natural mix of seasonal foliage and textured greenery. Charlotte will demonstrate the simple techniques you need to get started, then be on hand throughout the session to offer guidance, ideas and support as your wreath takes shape. Rather than everyone following one identical design, you’ll be encouraged to make something that feels like your own. Once your foliage base is complete, you’ll be able to choose from a carefully selected range of finishing touches - such as natural dried elements, seed heads, pinecones, ribbon and subtle decorative details - to create a wreath with its own individual character. Expect a calm, welcoming workshop with plenty of time to experiment, make choices and enjoy the process. No previous wreath-making or floristry experience is needed. Everything you need will be provided, along with refreshments, and you’ll leave with your finished handmade winter wreath ready to take home. Saturday 28th November 2:30–4:30pm or 6:30–8:30pm £65 per person All materials and refreshments included. The workshop price reflects the cost of fresh florist-quality foliage and the generous selection of materials available to each guest. Maximum 8 people per workshop to keep the session relaxed and allow plenty of individual guidance.

- The Curious & Magical Making Day
Something curious has appeared at Wren & Bramble… a tiny door. Where does it lead? Who might live beyond it? What grows there? What might you discover if you stepped through? The Curious & Magical Making Day is a gentle October workshop for children aged 7+ and their grown-ups, filled with beautiful materials, imagination and time to create side by side. Together, you’ll be invited to build pieces of a hidden world, make curious clay treasures, create maps and discoveries, and follow your own ideas wherever they take you. There’ll be no scary Halloween, no finished example to copy, and no expectation that everyone makes the same thing. We’ll explore techniques, offer ideas when they’re wanted, and leave plenty of room for children and grown-ups to make things entirely their own. The grown-ups aren’t just there to supervise either. This is time to create together. You might work on one world between you, make completely different things alongside each other, or find yourselves swapping ideas halfway through. Only six child-and-grown-up pairs will join us, keeping the afternoon calm, spacious and unrushed. All materials and refreshments are included, and everything you create is yours to take home. A little bit autumnal. A little bit magical. Completely yours. Can I bring two children? This particular workshop has been designed around one child creating alongside one grown-up. We really want to protect that lovely bit of one-to-one time, so each child needs their own grown-up and their own booked pair place. That grown-up can be a parent, grandparent, auntie, uncle, family friend or another trusted adult - it doesn't have to be a parent. 🤍 We know that won't work for every family, so we'll also be planning other family sessions where siblings can come together.
- Witches' Night
If the women before us could see us now… Witches’ Night is a special evening of slow making, connection and remembrance at Wren & Bramble. For two hours, the space will be softly lit and filled with beautiful, simple materials to explore at your own pace. You might create a little memory book, make botanical clay imprints, spend time slow stitching with a shared thread, or add something quietly to our two sand trays: one honouring those who came before us, and one reflecting on what we hope to leave for those who come after. There is no finished example to copy, no right way to take part, and absolutely no expectation to share the meaning behind anything you make. You can make something deeply personal. You can make something simply because you like it. You can talk, laugh, remember, sit quietly, or spend two hours absorbed using your hands. Everything is an invitation, never an expectation. Your ticket includes all creative materials, refreshments, and a small Wren & Bramble take-home bag with a few thoughtfully chosen pieces to carry the evening beyond the space. 29th October | 6:30–8:30pm £36 per person | Maximum 12 places Witches’ Night is a women-centred gathering, open to women, trans women, and non-binary people who feel at home in this space and in the spirit of the evening.
